Authentic Mexican Food

Chile Amor is a local Mexican restaurant that has been in Davis County since late 2016. It’s on Highway 89, on the edge of our county, before entering Salt Lake onto Beck Street. They specialize in authentic Mexican food, using Abuela’s tried and true recipes.  

I went with a group to lunch, we were so happy with their kind service and timeliness during a busy lunch hour. Our group ordered a variation of plates, and everyone was happy with the food! And we really enjoyed their bright and eclectic atmosphere. 

One of the dishes that impressed us the most was their sizzling fajitas. Their combo – shrimp, chicken and steak – fajitas will have you leaving with another extra meal of leftovers. You can enjoy their house-made salsa and hot sauce – that has quite the kick – to go along with your meal.

They didn’t know that I would be writing a restaurant spotlight, and their service was still exceptional. We left feeling like we had new friends and couldn’t wait to come back! 

Dessert

One thing we saw come out of the kitchen before we left, and were sad it wasn’t ours, was their Fried Ice Cream. This dessert looked amazing.
