June Events in Davis County: Car Shows, Air Show, Concerts & more!

June is a very fun and exciting time in Davis County. Every June the Bountiful Rotary puts on a large car show in Bountiful. Hill Air Force Base has their biennial Utah Air Show this month as well. There are wonderful performing arts throughout the county for art lovers, and a new art stroll kicking off this month. For foodies, find food truck meet-ups and farmer’s markets all month. Wetlands Walk on Antelope Island State Park

What: Wetlands are scarce on Antelope Island but the ones we do have are teeming with life and extremely important to the critters who use them.  Join the park naturalist on a 1/2 mile walk around the wetlands at the Historic Fielding Garr Ranch. What: It’s free fishing day throughout Utah, so join DWR conservation officers and Woods Cross Police officers will be at Bountiful Pond to giving fishing tips. Bait will be provided. If you have your own fishing rod and reel, please bring it with you. If you don’t, rods and reels will be available at a first come, first served basis.

Predators Presentation by Naturalist on Antelope Island State Park

Batty About Bats on Antelope Island State Park

What: Long associated with Halloween and vampires, the bat is feared by many people. Yet seen up close, these flying mammals are intelligent, shy creatures that benefit humans by eating lots of insects and are essential for healthy ecosystems. Leash Adventures on Antelope Island State Park

What: Join us on a guided hike (hike is approximately one mile out and one mile back) with your dog on the beautiful Lakeside Trail. Hiking with your four-legged friend creates time for the two of you to connect and explore the world around you. On this hike you can expect to see incredible views of the lake as we talk about hiking safety and how to protect and conserve wildlife here at Antelope Island.
