The Base Restaurant & Bar is one of Davis County’s newest restaurants, but has a long-standing history in the county. Over the 13 past years, The Base Restaurant & Bar has operated as Boston’s Gourmet Pizza but this summer, the owners decided to make a change to better reflect the community and the area. Locally owned and operated, The Base Restaurant & Bar pays tribute to the wonderful military community we have here in Davis County. From military-inspired décor to their everyday military discount and their commitment to hiring veterans and military spouses, The Base truly is dedicated to bettering our community. Plus, on top of all of that, they have an amazing, high-quality menu. So, whether you are part of the Hill Air Force Base community or simply just love good food, then you’ll want to head straight to The Base for lunch or dinner.

The Base has a huge menu that will please even the pickiest of eaters. Their menu includes pizza, salads, pasta, and sandwiches. But that’s just the beginning. If you’re really hungry, then you’ll want to consider their main dinner entrees like BBQ pork ribs, oven-roasted salmon, seafood platter, or seafood tacos. Add a side of waffle-cut sweet potato fries, scalloped potatoes, or a side salad and you’ll be in food heaven. And let’s not forget about drinks. The Base Restaurant & Bar is currently open for dine-in eating inside their restaurant or out on their shaded patio. You can also call ahead for quick takeout orders. Simply call the restaurant at 801-779-9088 and they’ll have your order ready in no time.

The Base offers a 10% discount to military members and their families. Despite its name, The Base is not located inside of Hill Air Force Base and is accessible to anyone. The Base Restaurant & Bar is open Monday-Thursday 11 am-10 pm; Friday and Saturday 11 am-11 pm; Sunday 11 am-9 pm.
