Endurance Horse Ride

Where: White Rock Bay + most open park trails
What: This two day event will take place beginning in White Rock Bay, and will utilize most of the open park trails. Riders on horseback with participate in several long distance rides on the island. Park Impacts: No areas of the park will be closed for this event. Increased horse traffic on most of the open trails. Increased traffic within White Rock Bay.

Full Moon Hike on Antelope Island

Where: Dooley Knob (the same as Frary Peak) trailhead at 8:15 pm
What: Most people hike Antelope Island during the day but there are lots of critters out at night. Join the park naturalist for a hike by the full moon light and learn about the nocturnal wildlife of Antelope Island. Meet at the Dooley Knob (the same as Frary Peak) trailhead at 8:15 pm. We will be gaining about 800 feet of elevation in 1.5 miles. This hike is 3 miles total.
Utah Ultimate Disc Tournament
When: April 19th and April 20th 8am to 3pm

What: Come enjoy a spring morning at one of our beautiful parks as hundred of children participate in our annual egg hunt. The hunt is located at Barnes Park and will be held on the baseball fields 1-4. The egg hunt is for ages 0-10 years old and each field has ages assigned. Don’t forget to bring your Easter baskets and come early to find your field. The hunt ends as fast as it begins so come early.

Make sure you come early for the games and craft. We will close the gym after the 11:30 group leaves for their dive. Register early, slots fill up fast.
Syracuse City’s Easter Egg Hunt

What: Join us as we get egg-cited about decorating eggs utilizing the natural plants surrounding the Education Center. Learn a new and creative way to decorate your eggs and learn about the local plant life as we adorn our eggs with these natural fibers of the wild. Our skilled volunteer staff will assist from start to finish with the egg decorating process and supply you with an egg and all the materials needed for decorating. MTB Clinic – Cornering & Switchbacks

What: Switchbacks can be frustrating, learning how to do them correctly makes life so much easier! Switchbacks are not the same technique as cornering, but it is close so the two together are a good match. Those pesky tight switch backs will soon be a thing of the past.
Bountiful City Day of Service:
Construct New Dog Park, Clear North Canyon Trails, or Plant Flower Beds
When: April 27th, 9am – 11am
Where: Meet at Bountiful City Hall, projects will be handed out there
What: Volunteers of all ages in Bountiful are encouraged to participate. Volunteers will assist in pruning trees and shrubs to help construct a new dog park at Brick Yard Park, help with trail clearing at North Canyon walking and biking trail, or help with flower beds on Main Street or around town.
- Bring supplies: Volunteers should bring rakes, shovels, pruning shears, and gloves if desired
- FREE Bees Game: All who come and assist will be given a JustServe T-Shirt and provided a free admission ticket to the Bees game that evening at 6:30 pm at the Smith Ball park.
