CenterPoint Makes Enchanting Transformation for Fairytale Festival

by jessicam

Every September, CenterPoint Legacy Theatre transforms into an enchanted castle for their Fairytale Festival. This community appreciation event celebrates messages of bravery, wisdom, courage, love, and family found within the pages of a book. The 7th Annual Fairytale Festival will be held Friday, September 13th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 14th from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. A variety of free and low-cost ticketed activities allow children to become fairytale characters for a day.

Give to Children in Need

The festival provides children the opportunity to give well-loved and well-read books to children in need. Visit the “Bibbidi Bobbidi Books” tent to donate a book and stop by the “Wishing Well” to make a card to accompany the book. Each year, the festival sponsors a dozen Make A Wish children at the Daddy-Daughter Ball, Princess Tea Party and Wizarding 101.

One father at the Daddy-Daughter Ball last year shared, “I would travel a thousand miles to see the look I saw on my little girl’s face tonight!”

Luckily you can find all the magic here in Davis County at CenterPoint Legacy Theatre (525 N. 400 W., Centerville, Utah) on September 13 – 14, 2019!
